Recent projects that I have worked on include 114-lot subdivision located in the City of

Murrieta. I have also worked on a commercial project located in the City of Lake Elsinore.

For the Lake Elsinore project I worked on Precise Grading Plan, Street Improvement Plans

both city and Cal-Trans. I helped research with agencies for standard notes and title blocks

either through their website or by contacting someone. I also helped with the quantity

takeoffs for the engineer’s cost estimates.

scaling sheets, data tables and labeling in both plan view and profile. On occasion I

have picked up and dropped off plans at the above mentioned city buildings.

AutoCAD Skills:

For the past couple of years, I have been performing AutoCAD drafting on a variety of civil

engineering plans as stated above. All four companies use what is known as “xref” drawings

for all types of drawings. I am very familiar with creating drawings using “xref”; viewports and

scaling up or down the base drawing as need (i.e. 20 scale, 40 scale, ect.). I know how to

develop spot elevations from Land Desktop using the “Profile” commands. I also desire to

learn how to create project surfaces and how to create profiles using the alignment and

terrain menus on Land Desktop.

In short, my goal is to become a design-drafter and later, become a senior designer. I want

to work for a firm that will help me learn and move forward with the additional engineering

design skills I am seeking. I am looking to obtain a position with a firm that can pair me with

an engineer or senior designer that can help train me so that I can become more valuable

asset to your company.
